Privacy Policy

Who we are

Website Secret Shopper is a service operated by Gaines Capital Books LLC ("we", "us", or "our"), based in Spokane, Washington. We provide free homepage checks and paid website review services. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use websitesecretshopper.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What information we collect

• Information you give us in the free check form: your first name, your email address, and the website URL you ask us to review.
• Information you give us when you order a paid review: your name, your email address, the website URL to review, and your payment details (processed securely by our payment provider; we never store your full card number).
• Information collected automatically: standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps, collected through cookies and similar technologies to keep the service working and understand usage.

How we use your information

• To deliver the free homepage check or paid review you requested, by email.
• To process payments and keep records of transactions.
• To respond to your questions and support requests.
• To improve our service and prevent abuse.

Email communications

When you submit the free check form, you will receive the review you asked for by email. We do not send unrelated marketing email, and we do not sell or rent your email address to anyone. You can ask us to delete your information at any time by replying to any email we send or contacting us at [email protected].

How we share information

We share information only with the service providers that help us run the business, each bound by their own privacy and security obligations:

• GoHighLevel — stores contacts and sends our email.
• Make.com — automates the review workflow.
• Google (Gemini) — performs the automated review analysis of the page content you submit.
• Stripe — processes payments.

We do not sell your personal information.

Data retention

We keep your submission information for as long as needed to provide the service, handle payment and tax records, and respond to support requests, after which it is deleted or de-identified.

Your rights

You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and we will respond within a reasonable period.

Cookies

The site uses cookies needed to run the service (for example, to remember your consent choice and keep forms secure). You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the service may not work fully without them.

Children's privacy

The service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. The "Last updated" date at the bottom of this page always reflects the current version.
